  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e - Best mid-range Android tablet
  • iPad 9.7" 32GB - Best mid-range iPad
  • iPad Pro 11” or 12.9” - Best tablet for ultimate productivity
Learn more about each of these tablets below.

Lenovo Tab E10 32GB - £129

Lenovo Tab E10 32GB

The Lenovo Tab E10 is one of the most affordable Android tablets available right now. It features a 10.1" display with a HD 1280x800 resolution display. Admittedly, it's not the most beautiful display, but at this price, it's nice to see a tablet with this form factor.
On the inside, the Lenovo Tab E10 is powered by 2GB RAM and a Snapdragon APQ8009 processor. This is a lesser known quad core often used for cheaper devices. The result is that this tablet is perfect for basic apps and everyday media viewing. You could even play a few lower intensive games on this tablet. The included 32GB storage space means you have enough space to store some music or a few movies to watch on the go.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e 10.5" 64GB - £379

It's quite a jump up in price, but you get such an improved experience with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e. This is a brand new tablet that launched alongside the S10 range in 2019. You get a stunning 10.5 inch 1600x2560 resolution display that features Samsung's famous vivid colours and contrast levels. This tablet is powered by a massive 4GB RAM and a Snapdragon 670 processor. Sure, there are faster tablets on the market, but realistically the Galaxy Tab S5e will easily take on any task you throw at it.
You also get a surprisingly decent 13 megapixel camera on this tablet, which comes as quite a surprise. The battery life is very impressive too thanks to the massive 7,040mAh battery. Finally, you get Android 9.0 and Samsung's new ultra clean One UI. On top of that, you get a fingerprint sensor on the side, 64GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot that can take up to 1TB of extra storage.

iPad 9.7" 32GB (2018) - £319

Joining team Apple doesn't need to break the bank in 2019. In fact, a brand new Apple iPad 9.7 will only set you back £319, and you can still save up to 12% through Techscheme. This tablet comes with Apple's super smooth iOS 12.3 operating system which many people favour over Android for the tablet experience.
The display is 9.7 inches and has a HD resolution of 1536x2048. The colours are very true to life, making this a perfect device for viewing any kind of media. You get a huge 8,827 mAh battery in the iPad 9.7, which really helps to push the battery life far past the competition. You can unlock your iPad 9.7 with face detection or use the 8MP camera for videos and photos instead.
On the inside, the iPad 9.7 features 2GB RAM and the Apple A10 Fusion chip, which is the same found in the iPhone 7 range. You get 32GB storage as standard, but a 128GB version is also available.

iPad Pro - £769/£969

iPad Pro - £769/£969
If you want the ultimate tablet experience, the iPad Pro is the way to go. There are two sizes, with the 11” version starting at £769 and the 12.9” version starting at £969. Both tablets feature a similar experience, although the 12.9” has 6GB RAM, whereas the 11” version has 4GB.
So what is there to say about these two tablets? Well, if you’re after productivity, both iPad Pro models cannot be beaten. iOS 12.3 on tablets includes split screen and an array of multitasking features that are fully realized on the bigger displays.
The quality of these displays just cannot be beat, either. Colour accuracy on the iPad Pro range is remarkable, making both perfect for any kind of graphic design or general scribbling. The display specs also make for an unparalleled movie watching experience.
Interior specs for the iPad Pro range includes the Apple A12X Bionic chip, which is the absolute best of the best that Apple has to offer for iOS right now. In fact, not even the iPhone XS Max has the A12X bionic.
Ultimately, the price point of these two tablets is significantly higher than other tablets, but if you want the absolute best experience possible, there really isn’t anything out there to compete with the iPad Pro range right now.
